In December 2024, Khulisa was awarded The Early Intervention Award at the Children & Young People Now (CYP Now) Awards – and we couldn’t have been more thrilled!

This recognition was a huge moment for us in celebrating our ongoing mission to ensure young people who’ve experienced trauma get the support they deserve to thrive. Winning this award was inspiration for us to keep pushing forward, investing in our programme, and growing our youth participation work.
It also goes without saying that this award was a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and passion of our incredible team. We’re beyond proud of all that we’ve accomplished in the last year at Khulisa.
We were also shortlisted for the Mental Health and Wellbeing award, which went to The Children’s Society for their Pause service. A massive congratulations to the other incredible nominated charities – Boxwise, Chance UK, Bridges Outcomes Partnerships, and LifeLine Projects – for all the impactful work you’re doing!
We want to extend a huge thank you to Children & Young People Now for this opportunity, and to Nora Russell, our brilliant Head of Fundraising & Comms, and Laurie Martin, our new Chair, for attending the ceremony and representing us.
This award isn’t just a win; it’s a reminder of why we do the work we do. We’re excited about what the future holds and can’t wait to continue watching young people transform through our programmes.
